Tips on engaging a purchased newsletter subscriber base
Hi there,

I am new to email marketing and I need your help.

How would you go about engaging over 600,000 purchased newsletter subscribers?

They have not opted in to be your subscribers. The tutorials I have come across are all about subscribers that have opted in.

You can use any product as an example.

What are the factors that I should consider.

Your assistance is much appreciated.

RE:
Sorry I did not see your post until now, but wanted to give you at least some advice.
Say upfront that the recipient is from a friend (you may want to ID them or not, depending on your understanding with your vendor, and also on your assessment of the recipient's relationship with the vendor). Then immediately give them reasons for staying with you; in other words, the specific benefits of staying with you and telling what they will miss if they unsubscribe. The more compelling the list, the more likely they are to stay. Also consider immediate perks to offer - downloads or articles or other resources that will help them make the decision to stay with you.
Hope this helps and it is not too late. Still you could use the tips for other list purchases. Best results to you!
