So - here I am, back here a hour or 2 after having posted the OP and noticing that a couple of dozen folks have viewed this new thread.

Question for anyone visiting here:
Has anyone at all noticed that within the recent couple of months that very little new stuff has been posted here by me ??

Sure - I know that I am just one tiny member amongst a bazillion others, and at the same time I also know that some of my threads have been viewed ALOT.

Having started long ago using discussion boards I learned that places like this thrive from PARTICIPATION - meaning that folks actually add their thoughts rather than just lurking.
(Here, that lurking is also zipping around grabbing stuff as quickly as possible for many folks...)

Well, here's my deal:
If I make a thread with stuff for others to use and maybe gain something from, I watch to see if anyone is bothering with it so as to know if posting -whatever- was a good idea;
2nd to that, I also notice if anyone bothers to reply, even just to leave a little hello or a word of thanks for sharing.
These things are the only possible encouragements given here that encourage members to share MORE.

Absent those motivators, sharing stuff is an empty pursuit - worthless to the poster AND to the community as a whole, SO=>

Want me to post the goodies that I find ??
Sure thing, friend - then say hello when you stop by, so that posting stuff is better than sitting alone and talking to myself, OK ??
