RE: [GET] Fight Cancer with a Ketogenic Diet
Your sharing prowess is unparalleled, StillStanding. You are my role model on this forum!
Not detracting or shaming you but my ex-girlfriend's colleague's boyfriend took the ketogenic diet SERIOUSLY for a year and developed a stroke, becoming a little short of a vegetable. ;( I'm sure it helps people in weight loss but IDK if a high-fat diet is good for people in the long run. But there is no doubt the production of ketones aids in generating energy without the need for traditional carbs which dissolve into glucose. As with all diets, I reckon there are both benefits and weaknesses. Medical opinion is also not trustworthy. A few decades back, eggs were said to be bad for those with high cholesterol. New studies say it is healthy again. |
