DOBERMAN DAN'S "ULTIMATE" TRIBUTE TO OUR MASTER DAN KENNEDY!

Friends, the news is heartbreaking- No, the news is HEART-WRENCHING-

The beautiful, unduplicatable, inimitable, unparalleled, unassailable, matchless, peerless, critiqueless, generous, prolific, specific, unbending, and until now UNENDING MASTER OF BUSINESS AND LIFE SUCCESS

DAN KENNEDY

Will no longer be with us, will no longer be able to grace our marketing world with his presence, his products, his genious, his assistance-

Would it be strange for me to admit that I am in tears about his passing? Would anybody call me less of a man for expressing some actual emotion over the impending loss of someone who I not only held so dear as a mentor, but daresay, even though I never met the man (and now never will!), FRIEND?

I am out of words, but I wanted to share with everybody here what I think is the best tribute to our great friend and guide Dan Kennedy- It was written by one of Dan's most successful students (of the endless myriad of success stories we could cite) Doberman Dan-

Dan wrote this in November of 2013 and it was no doubt made partly in jest where Dan came up with a grand scheme of somehow cryogenically freezing Dan's brain to preserve it for eons to come, where Dan can continue to impart endless knowledge and wisdom for multiple generations to come- The issue was done partially in jest, but it sure rings true in a whole different light today-

I hope everybody finds it as a touching and fitting tribute for truly one of the most unique people to have been placed on this planet, at least in our generation- And he will be sorely missed by hundreds of thousands and will never, truly, ever be replaced-

I wonder if I would have either the presence of mind or the way with words to do anything like that on my deathbed. Probably call everyone some horrible names, piss myself and then twist up and die.

When I first heard the news a few days back it really hit home with me. I was really sad. And it's weird to think that given I have never meet the guy. He's been my "virtual mentor" for years. Not a week goes by without me reading one of his newsletters... listening to parts of one of his many brilliant courses... reading one of my many notes I have about stuff he taught me inside my Evernote... or whatever.

Crazy to think you can be affected by the death of someone you don't know this much. He will be so greatly missed. His work will live on forever, of course. So will his legacy. Yet, its just sooo sad! He has truly changed my life and tens of thousands of others.

Not to mention that most of todays experts and gurus would be nothing without Dan Kennedy. Truly the godfather and THE legend of this industry.

Exactly. I feel the exact same (as above post).

I thought he'd live forever in a sense as I never really thought it possible he COULD die.

Like a superhero.

The world will be a much dull-er place without him.

The thing I’m finding strange is I haven’t gotten any emails (yet?) from any of the “marketing superstars” about Dan’s death- Nothing from Doberman Dan, Frank, Bond Or Kevin, John Carlton,etc. Wonder why that is? Maybe nobody’s able to really process or accept it yet? Or maybe some people think it’s a hoax? Like everyone’s saying, its really just happened out of nowhere, and like was said above, Dans written response was so calm, cool, collected an apparently “accepting” it makes you wonder-

OR, maybe it’s the true testament to a person who has lived their life so COMPLETELY on THEIR TERMS, that when the final day rears it’s ugly head, you are 1000% ready for it, and you can go in complete peace? Hmmmm....

Well, all those people have written on Facebook. But don't forget he's still with us. He's not dead yet. Though, as you can read in his own letter, the doctors only give him days. When you're in hospice, it can be hours, days or weeks. Once he has passed I'm sure there will be lots of tributes and emails hitting your inbox (or not, who knows).

EDIT: But yeah, maybe this is all part of a collaborate marketing test. The ultimate "hoax". The ONE thing he wants people to remember when he in fact IS gone in like 10-20 years time. "The marketing guy who faked his own death to cause a 1430% boost to his marketing summit and exploded his sales by 2000%... the biggest in the history of mankind and one never to be forgotten"

Part of me really wants that to be the case so we can have this stubborn dude around to keep sharing his amazing insights and wisdom.

Hey good points all around- Yeah I’ve seen a few things on FB, mostly on Franks page- Only thing is I’ve heard from other sources that he actually IS dead at this point- So it really is strange all around-Nobody seems to know for sure?
