But seriously guys, can someone without access to the original email change the password?

When you click on lost password, is it not supposed to ask you for your username or email so that they can send reset credentials to the email you specified?

Doesn't that mean that the bonafide owner of the email will then log into the email and follow the process to change the password?

Am I being naive or is there some other way to change a password apart from following the above process?

Sorry guys, but I am wondering how any person apart from the email creator/owner can change the password. No harm/disrespect intended.

i have used temporary mail and you can access temporary mail of same domain easily.
some idiot changed this.

i agree. i was thinking that. but if the op says the temp email was hacked i guess that could have happened. i also thought maybe the owner noticed a lot of activity on the account (many ip addresses accessing it) and if the username does not exist anymore, it would say pw is wrong otherwise.

i'm thinking of getting it if people say this is viable. i dont think i would be able to share it though if someone is going to change the address or owner may close account. it looks like we would still have to work quite a bit on getting the free traffic through social media. i got the tutorial page before it went down. the owner is kind of hard to understand and i'm not sure its complete enough anyone think this method would work?

I used the info to get my own account there with only 1 problem=>
There are 2 different log-in places and they do not play nice together !!

Now I am using this one:

That worked for me after sign-up, and worked fine just now too.

At no point did I make use of any shared login creds, that is always a silly thing to do IMO.
