On another note, one of the most surefire ways to blow up your account is to trade weekly options. That is to buy an overpriced contract (volatility up) that will die in a week.

Of course, you will make your broker very happy (like 80%+ of retail options' traders).

I am pretty sure these "experts" have an "ethical and amazing" broker to propose (that's called conflict of interest, by the way). The more you trade, the more they get paid commissions -then you lose all, and deposit fresh capital-.

If you take a look at the most traded nasdaq100 options at higher time frames and give your contract enough time to work, you will be a lot safer, your risk will be reduced, and you will have much less anxiety (compared to the madness of weekly speculation).
