Sincere thanks for replying Nancy857 (and also for your generous gift of reps) !!
This presentation really resonates with me because in my own past I went through a very similar health crisis and solved it similarly also.

Yes:
(03-20-2019 06:32 AM)Azazel Wrote: ...have I missed something or he didn't mention any solutions...At around 3:13 Dr. Attia mentions how he became the patient later himself, then at around 4:25 he mentions radically changing his diet, and how he lost the weight and did not become actively diabetic. The food choice changes can be quite obvious for anyone who employs a bit of careful reasoning along with self-honesty concerning the shyte that we grow up eating without question (most of us, that is). Diabetes is mostly about how we saturate our bodies with both the obvious and the hidden sugars as well as those things which digest into sugars. If you have some patience and a willingness to learn about this in some depth, then I suggest this presentation: I have gone through it several times - and though it is a bit long, it has always kept my attention quite focused for the whole thing. It is important to get that a large portion of our tendencies towards illness are rooted in our thoughts - and in this situation, most folks fail to see how broad a range of 'foods' are actually based upon stuff that turns right into sugars - which some of us can no longer tolerate. If/when that change in thinking may occur, what comes after it can be simple as long as one desires to be healthier enough to make the commitment to it.
