Thanks ShortCircuit - I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if I forgot something. I'm on win7. Still was asked for license key to activate but not for the email and password this time. I can preview but can't save, render or access most of the functions. can only add bitmap image and text. I'll try to reinstall again.

I still can't get it to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled again offline but no change. I have to enter a license key to activate - I put in a '1' - which lets the program open. I can then create something but still can't save, render video or use any features except bitmap and text.

Have you tried opening the file I provided above?

Hey guys,

Type anything in the license and click activate.
Then do the same for email and password (doesn't even have to be an email).

ShortCircuit - Explaindio wouldn't let me open anything - I could view the video and the svg elsewhere. But explaindio kept giving an api error when I tried to import or add your video. Here's what I am doing. I install the exe file, install the crack in the new explaindio directory in my program files overwriting the original .swf file. I open explaindio, put a number in the license field and activate, put a made up email and password in the api box, open explaindio - create new project, make a scene - all I can add is a bitmap or text - everything else gives api error, when I try to save I get endless spinning cog wheels, when try to create video it won't save - it gives me a gibberish file name to save to my chosen directory but never completes. I can't figure it out but will keep trying. Thanks for the sample - let's me know it should be possible. When you installed did you disconnect from internet or was that necessary - I've tried both ways and it didn't seem to matter. I have other versions of explaindio on my machine but I renamed their directories - could that be messing things up?

the same for me, the software tries to connect to the API with email and password and therefore impossible to create a video ....
