[GET] Facebook Auto Pages - updated for 2018 - eBay RSS to Facebook Page using IFTTT
I can't remember where I got this method from. A search of BBHF turned up ZERO results so if there is a duplicate somewhere, I apologize in advance.

To make it worth your while, I'm going to add some extra info, but first a brief summary of the product:

FBAutoPages

  1. Sign up to be an eBay affiliate
  2. Create a Facebook Page for your niche products
  3. Create an RSS feed inside the eBay Partner Network
  4. Create an IFTTT Applet that feeds the RSS feed items into your Facebook Page
  5. Build your Page Likes - it should also get organic Likes if your niche is hot
  6. Bank if anyone buys via any of your links

I'm currently testing this method, so I don't have any proof or anything to show. I will update this thread if that changes.

I've taken it a step further and created an IFTTT applet that also feeds the posts from Facebook onto a Pinterest Board.

If I wanted to, I could expand that to other platforms as well like Twitter.

I get a moderate amount of traction on Pinterest for this niche. Oddly enough, it's a niche where most of the content for it on Pinterest isn't optimized for Pinterest. So, I don't have to worry about having images the right size and stuff with the posts feeding in from FB.

I also have a board in the same niche that feeds into a Tumblr blog and has amassed more than 1100 followers. Every post gets a minimum of 10 notes.

It's just something that's kind of happened by accident playing around with IFTTT.

If you're not using that tool, you should be! I also use it to build backlinks to web 2.0 sites that are linking to content on my main website. I control all the links, so I can shut them down at any point and/or delete them if need be should Google get crazy.

I'm willing to answer questions on the thread as I am able if anyone is curious. The platform is pretty straightforward and if you can't get it just by playing with it, you should be able to get the gist from one video.

Hi manolo12399. Thanks for reaching out with your question. I haven't had problems with the images on Facebook. I realize by including this picture, I am exposing my niche, but whatever. It's not like it's making any money yet anyway.

While this system doesn't always choose the best images to display, they are appearing quite large for me.

My best advice to play around with the settings of the RSS feed campaign itself on eBay, and see if that helps.

As for you second question, I think this is supposed to be targeted to your region. I don't think it works like worldwide. The examples used in the PDF are limited to the UK.

One thing I did was set up the Page button to be Shop Now and point to my main eBay affiliate link.

I'm sorry that I can't provide more technical and knowledgeable answers to your questions.

Your niche must be a lot hotter than mine! Thanks for sharing this.

I don't see anything in the TOS that restricts what this method teaches. - https://partnernetwork.ebay.com/legal/#code-of-conduct

I'd answer them honestly...yo, I'm posting [your niche items] to a Facebook page in [your niche] where users have Liked my page and opted to receive my updates.

That's what I'd do. If they spank me, they spank me.

RE: [GET] Facebook Auto Pages - updated for 2018 - eBay RSS to Facebook Page using IFTTT
**UPDATE**

I've been running this for a few weeks now, and I'm getting a tiny bit of traction via Facebook.

I was running an applet via IFTTT to share my Facebook posts to a Pinterest board...that one's still running actually, but I ran into a couple problems I had to solve.

First, you can only connect ONE Facebook Page to IFTTT, but you can connect MULTIPLE Pinterest Boards.

So, I run my eBay RSS feeds straight to Pinterest to the tune of THOUSANDS of Pins per day. It's increased my monthly views from 15K to more than 40K in less than a week!

Also, in the applet, you have to change the Image URL to PostContentURL or it won't post the images sometimes...just a big ugly red ebay logo.

I'm getting clicks in the double digits daily....NO buyers, but you have to remember that Pinterest isn't buyer traffic.

I figure that I'll get a few buyers here and there eventually...and I'm doing ZERO work. It takes less than 5 minutes to set up the RSS feed and Pinterest Board, boom, done.

Also, I reviewed the eBay Partner Network TOS and they actually encourage sharing to both Facebook and Pinterest...so we're all good with that. If they email you as stated by a previous poster, just be honest and let them know you're sending FB and Pinterest traffic.

I will keep you updated on the method.
