layna... Thanks for this great T-shirt ebook.
I've been printing t-shirts since 1976. We've printed over 2,000,000 t-shirts by hand. The main cost involved is the heat dyer. The cheapest being $2500.00 (6' long) My dryer is 17' long and 4' wide. The second main cost is the printing press set-up. I built one when I was in High School. It was a 1-head print station. (good for a 1-color shirt print) The more colors you have in your design, the more print heads you'll need. They call this a carousel printer. They cost around $1000 to $2600. My presses last a long time. If you're serious and want to make this a business, it's a good business to get into. I was formally an art teacher in high school. If you can do Photoshop, you'll do good. Most simple ideas can be done with just lettering. I would be glad to answer any questions our group here on BBHF. Adman1948 |
