It was jaw-dropping...and, in the entrepreneur's own words, completely Pathetic.

His website was only half-complete...there was still latin "lorem upsum" filler text in the sidebar of the website.
There were no graphics. It wasn't even properly SEO optimized. But...

His Pathetic Website was built in a weird way
that "magically" attracted clicks... and SALES!

Despite the fact this entrepreneur's stupid simple website was never
even completed, he had effortlessly earned dozens of sales from
super-short posts he put up with his affiliate links.

Needless to say, this guy completely woke me up...

This was a business model that ANYONE could use to create an easy passive cash machine for themselves.

I was impressed. Seriously, how many business models do you run across that are actually as brain-dead simple as they claim to be?

So, I decided to run my own little experiment following a similar set of "rules" that led to the setup of the original Pathetic Money Maker:

It had to be SOMETHING ANYONE COULD DO. That means nothing too technical, not too much writing and nothing complex
or confusing.

It had to be 100% SCALABLE. There's not a whole lot of sense in creating something that earns a little
every month if you can't rinse and repeat the process.

It had to be BUILT INCREDIBLY FAST. I hate long-term projects that linger over your head and take months to
complete, so I decided that I wanted a quick, easy method.

It had to be possible to OUTSOURCE THE MODEL. My time is not best spent as a monkey pounding keys - neither is yours.
I'm looking to build a business and have others do the grunt work for
me.

It had to BUILD A REAL ASSET. If it's not something I own, then I can't sell it down the road for quick cash.

It had to be VERY LOW MAINTENANCE. I don't want to spend my time or waste my money managing the basics of my
business. I like putting in the work once and reaping the rewards.

It had to produce QUICK RESULTS. Waiting around for months to see a return on my investment doesn't make me
happy. I wanted something that could yield me fast results to keep me
motivated.

As soon as I laid down the ground rules, something just clicked for me.
The only way to describe it...

I was flattened by an avalanche of

A light bulb fully flipped to the
"ON" position for me. I'm sure you know what I mean...you just immediately
go into THE ZONE and get so pumped up that there's no possible way you can sleep.

I still remember everything like it was yesterday...

I realized that I could take the Pathetic Money Maker model and
"re-position" it on a TOTALLY different industry: Physical Products.

This might not sound too profound until you consider these facts...

FACT #1: There are way, way, WAY more physical products than digital products.
There's a lot of digital products out there, for sure, but it PALES in
comparison to the number of tangible, physical goods. That means you never have to scramble to find new products.

FACT #2: There's virtually no competition for many physical products. If you try to create a review site based around
a digital product on Clickbank, you're going to have to fight a bloody battle to get ranked in the Top 10. With physical products, you're
handed top rankings on a silver platter because there's no one around to fight you for it.

FACT #3: Physical products are almost always evergreen. Most digital products have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months, and that's if
you're lucky. They launch with giant fanfare, then go off the map. Your
efforts are short lived. Many physical products are around for many, many years - in some cases, decades.

FACT #4: Conversion rates for physical products are much higher. Digital products are REALLY lucky to
convert at 2 to 3%. Physical products are a totally different story.
It's not uncommon to get conversion rates from 5% to 50% or more.

I mapped out each part of my battle plan and knew I had struck a winning idea. So, I put it to work immediately and created my first "Pathetic Money Maker," using all the rules I laid out above. It took me less than 2 hours to build
and was one of the ugliest things I've ever seen.

It had just FOUR posts, TWO pages, and ONE backlink.

But, it WORKED.

WithinTWO weeks, I was already ranked in the top 10 in Google (rank #9,to beexact) for my targeted keyword phrases. According to my favorite
keyword research tool, Micro Niche Finder, it receives approximately2,900 searches permonth.

Notbad, right? But, I have to be honest, here...

Iwas more than a little skeptical. The process I followed was so "dumb
simple" that a 9year old could do it. Ireally didn't think it would be possible to get ranked so easily.

Itwas like I pressed some "magicbutton," but...just
between you and me...I honestly didn't do anything THAT special. I just
took time-tested SEO and marketing principles and applied them to my
unique, ridiculously simple "Pathetic Money Maker" website.

Needlessto say, I was already happy with the results of my littleexperiment.But, it justkept getting better...

Ichecked the analytics stats on my "Pathetic Money Maker" and found thatI was starting to draw in a load of traffic from over two dozen
different sources and keywords. You have to understand, this totally
baffled me. I had only created FOUR posts and ONE backlink for my site.

Iwas ranking and getting traffic from search terms that I never
expected, and the money was starting to roll in. Not enough to make merich, but definitely enough so that Iknew I was doing something right.

Insteadof being smart and actually growing out this simple little website thatwas performingfar better than I ever expected - and
expanding it into a full-blown empire - I let it fall off my radar.

Idiot. (Itstill embarrasses and upsets me to this day.)

Thetruth is, I just completely forgot about it after a while. I got
distracted with other projects and day-to-day life, like we all do.

So,needless to say, I was totallyflabbergasted at what
happened next...

My "Pathetic Money Maker" started to earn

Fat Checks from BOTH Google and Amazon!

The first check from my little experiment arrived in the mail,
first-class, courtesy of USPS.

To be honest, when I first opened the envelope, I was totally baffled about
the rather large payment I had just received from Google. So, I rushed
to my laptop and logged into my AdSense account to try and figure out
where the cash was flowing from.

I instantly recognized the source. My "Pathetic Money Maker" had grown
to become a full-blown,
passive cash machine...even though I completely forgot
about it.
