RE:
Hmmm... 8/34 looks fishy...
Packer Detection: Code: F-Prot packer identifier I have seen, and used, PECompact before. I don't recall ever getting an 8 on a virus check! Maybe it was an old version.. If PECompact was used by ScrapeJet initially, then I doubt they would have such a high detection rate. I doubt they want their customers going "OMG just bought scrapejet and its infected".. As a software developer, I would ensure my software didn't come up detected (there is always a way no matter what functions you need to use in your program!). Since ScrapeJet intitially doesn't have this high of a detection rate, and from my knowledge PECompact doesn't either, I would advise to not run this until I can check out the EXE. I will inspect it here in a few minutes, and post back to this thread my results. I hope it is good because I would like to try this software as well :) I strongly advise everyone to run this in a VM environment! If you don't know how, check out "Sandboxie" (for the noobs). Some antiviruses (BitDefender and Avast) offer built in sandboxes with their AV. If you are using Norton or McAfee then you just flat out are asking to be infected as you have no common sense! They are the 2 worst antiviruses. My #1 choice for antivirus is BitDefender 2012 (2013 still has bugs to work out). My #2 choice - Avast (lightweight, runs great, good GUI for non geeks). My #3 choice - NOD32. If you are a geek, and have a good PC, then install VMWare. For best compatabiliy in VMWare, use Windows XP SP3. *NOTICE: To the OP. I mean absolutely no disrespect. I am not sure if you cracked this, or somewhere in the past you got your hands on this private crack. Scrapebox, ScrapeJet, and ScrapeBoard are all made by the same person. Just recently, working ScrapeBox cracks came around (It was a loader, modifies the EXE in memory). I have not seen 1 scrapejet or scrapeboard crack to date (does not mean they don't exist). If 1 software of the 3 can be cracked, they all can be cracked. This software checks for debuggers (ollydbg), has md5 file modification checks, calls home, ect. I would expect to see a loader, not a crack. It can be cracked, but tons more work to do for the cracker. Any experienced cracker would probably go the loader route as well (verses unpacking, fixing 100s of errors, bypassing md5 hash check, ect.) The reason these apps aren't available is because most people cracking SEO Software aren't good enough crackers. The pro crackers are cracking mainstream apps (MS office, photoshop, mainstream apps). So we are left with the amateur crackers. Again, no disrespect to anyone cracking our SEO Software :) I crack myself, for apps I really want and when I have time... |
