RE: [GET] 300k Rookie Consultant + OTO
Might be a little late for a review and to talk about the efficacy of this method, but here goes anyway.

Firstly, reps to OP for uploading it. I got it fine. So thanks.

Secondly, the sales copy is basically crap. Says the guy who did it made $300k in 6 months or whatever. He didn't. He potentially created a $300k/year business if the clients he signed up at $997/month stayed with him for an entire 12 months. Those just aren't the same thing.

Next, I realize this is supposed to just be a guide, but LOL at using a free service, then offering two options where the business can log into their account and make the updates themselves. Just how long do you really think someone is gonna keep paying you $hundreds/month when they realize they not only have to do the work themselves, but are just using a free software?

After that, while the idea is good, the execution is flawed to hell, IMO. It's based on a restaurant's website already getting a ton of traffic. Most simply just don't. I mean, I don't go out all the time, but I legit can't remember the last time I actually went to a restaurant's website.

Mostly, the big flaw in this is what was mentioned below (and in other posts) - most users are gonna get the most out of this as a notification/reminder on their phone. iOS doesn't support web push notifications of any kind, so there goes the chances of anyone on an iPhone (half the phones out there or more?) getting it.

And since it's iOS, that also means no iPads, iPods, or anything else.

Now - that *doesn't* mean this idea doesn't have legs. Because I think it does. You just need to take a different approach.

First, use a text-based service. Something like Textedly would probably work great.

Prepare a basic guide for the store owner to use as a way of getting people on their list. (Textedly is the kinda thing where you "Text 'special' to 112233 to get 20% off on your next order!") Have their servers write in on receipts, create signs for the restaurant, have cashiers tell people when they pay, etc.

If the restaurant wants to step it up a notch, offer simple FB ads as an upsell. Run a basic PPE pic ad with the CTA right there in the copy - "Get a free drink the next time you come in! Text 'drink' to 112233!" Run mobile only, no need for the user to click anywhere, etc.

That sorta thing has legs, IMO.

Talked to a buddy of mine that recently purchased and started running a takeaway place with his wife. I laid out the idea to him just to see if he would be interested.

Now he didn't write a check (b/c I wasn't making the offer), but he said he'd easily pay $297 + $50 admin fee per month for the text campaigns, and $397 + $200 per month ad spend for the text campaigns with FB ads.

Anyway...just some ideas to chew on.

They're selling desktop push notifications, which seems to be unrealistic because all the data points to the fact people are using more their cellphones to surf the Internet rather than their PCs.

Any opinion on this?

I'd also like to know if someone is using a PLR push notification software shared on this forum, too.

Thanks for the share. This is another idea from our friend Luther Landro, and it's all about selling desktop notifications as a service to local businesses.
