Here's some facts about Bitconnect that you can use to be educated and push back at the considerable and inexplicable negativity coming out of some pretty high profile You Tubers.
1. In February of 2018, Bitconnect will start its THIRD YEAR in business. It was started in the Far East and was already in business for over a year before it began to be noticed by the west. Its coin (BCC) is a full year old. By comparison, scam crypto companies so far have never lasted more than four months.
2. In the near two years of it being in business, there's not been ONE incident of an investor claiming not to have been paid. Bitconnect has never missed a payment or stalled a withdrawal. In fact, the one glitch Bitconnect had was in August and was in favor of the INVESTORS. The glitch allowed investors to download more Bitconnect coins than they actually had earned. Bitconnect handled this situation swiftly and professionals. Bitconnect makes money FIVE WAYS and can certainly sustain any amount of withdrawals because they've earned the funds to make those pay-outs. Here's the five ways:
1. Bitconnect is an EXCHANGE (BTC/BCC). The money they make on the exchange fees alone pays for the interest pay-outs to investors.
2. 50% of the BTC they receive from investors (who must purchase BCC with BTC in order to lend to the trading bot) is put into a reserve fund. Bitconnect trades with the other 50% of the BTC. Therefore, they make money on their BTC trading AND on the increase in the price of the BTC they hold in the reserve fund.
3. They profit from the rise in BCC as investors trade in their BTC for BCC thereby causing a rise in the BCC price. Today, BCC is $299. At some point, it was 10 cents! I heard that Bitconnect holds 1 million BCC for the company. Those BCC today are worth approximately $300 million. Not confirmed.
4. Bitconnect pays only 20% of the profits from the trading bot (which trades on the volatility of BTC) to investors. They keep the rest.
5. People staking BCC makes Bitconnect money. I ASSUME Bitconnect is also mining its own coin. Not sure, but it would make sense if they do. As for the Ponzi accusations, no one has applied logic to see if this accusation can stand. Just because a company is a full MLM or like Bitconnect, a partial MLM, does NOT make it a Ponzi scheme! Avon, Herbalife, Amway, Mary Kay Cosmetics are all full MLMs, have been in business for DECADES and are not Ponzi schemes or they would have been drummed out of business long ago by the law. I WISH people would get the difference between an MLM and a Ponzi. If they did, there would be absolutely no Ponzi accusations. There are a few truly ignorant people trying to do major damage to Bitconnect right now with these non-stop Ponzi accusations.
Additionally, Bitconnect originally had an 11 level MLM pay-out. I would have never thought that would be sustainable. I guess Bitconnect thought so too, because it cut the MLM levels way back to 7 levels, which was thought to be to many levels. Then, just recently, they clawed the levels back to 3 levels of payouts. Bitconnect has had five major conferences in the Far East this year. They held one In Pattaya, Thailand to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their BCC. Three thousand people from all over the world attended. Many of them had their flight to the conference paid by Bitconnect. The top promoters were acknowledged and honored and given $10,000 bonuses. The top earners were given very expensive cars. Bitconnect has noticed the dedicated You Tube promoters who are educating people about the company, how to make loans, and reinvestments, etc. Some of these promoters have been appointed regional promoters.
Bitconnect recently changed its UK license to a PLC and appointed 14 of the top promoters to manage the company. Bitconnect has come out with their road map for 2018 and it is a solid plan for the future.
Roy Murphy (PhD) one of the original core Bitcoin coders, and a high level technical guy professionally, has been all over Bitconnect and has declared it solid.

The only people to profit from this were the creators of this scam and early investors that got in while the going was good and took their profits and legged it.
