REMOVE the # marks at the beginning of ALL LINES below
the line "# localhost name resolution etc etc blah blah" (without quotes)

The # at the beginning of a line COMMENTS it out which hides it from the OS and renders it NOT WORKING.

You ALSO have the filename as "hosts.txt" instead of "hosts" with NO extensions.

LOOK at the following from the instructions

Magic Button :

1. Add the following lines to or make sure they are in your hosts file.
# added below 7 lines to block arbitrage underdog

0.0.0.0 arbitrageunderdog.com
0.0.0.0 arbitrageunderdog5.com
0.0.0.0 0.arbitrageunderdog5.com
0.0.0.0 http://www.arbitrageunderdog.com
0.0.0.0 http://www.arbitrageunderdog5.com

Now LOOK at your image - do they appear to be the same?
