From my experience,
If you missed adding content to the post, replying soon would combine both the posts together (demarcates your newer reply with a horizontal line) If it was a particularly bad boo-boo, you could try contacting one of the staff. You could also reply in the thread requesting staff to delete the post (as in previous point) Something I do but do not recommend - reporting ones own problematic post with an explanation as to why it is so. Since I only report my own mistakes, staff by now probably think I'm some sort of self reporting weirdo
