Udemy Users Beware of Phishing - Do request Udemy Support for 2 Step Authentication
While searching for coupons, I landed on this page,
go check for yourself..
The link I clicked to reach here was some twitter perhaps advertising a free coupon/course

http://www.udemy.stfi.re/python-1000/

Looks and feels/acts exactly like a normal Udemy page,
Clicking on any link there will take you to the corresponding page on the Real Udemy site.. for one exception...
It asks you to login..whenever you try to enroll ..
It will accept your username and password and then takes you to the corresponding Udemy course page..

You may try the page with gibberish username/passwords.
Don't enter your real one or you'll risk losing your account

Just beware..especially uploaders like me who are looking out for coupons..

Phishing has reached Udemy.. :|
Its time for 2 Step Authentication

RE: All Udemy Users Beware - Somebody is out there to steal your accounts
I apologise..My bad ..
I should have researched it better before posting here...
Except for the notification at the bottom right, the page behaved like a phishing site would..

I'm yet to understand this ""Start a fire" service but probably it wasn't meant to be used for pages where one needs to stay logged in..

Thanks Teraboy..
Others : My apologies again for the false alarm

I would still appreciate/love it if Udemy comes up with 2-Step Authentication.
Maybe if more people reading this put up a request to 'Udemy Support' for the 2-Step feature, it might become a reality sooner..

I just wish more people would say that..
The only thing that demotivates me from posting coupons here is most people only enroll. Many don't even bother to start the course ..
If everybody would just complete the courses they have enrolled in..and rate/review it, it would be a Big Win for everyone involved.

just saw this course.. 7064 enrollments and Zero ratings.. which only means it's just sitting idle in people's accounts..

https://www.udemy.com/designing-for-engagement/

Thats the sad part of all this..
People who need to study some course on urgent basis are either not aware of Udemy or know where to get these coupons for free or big discounts..and the rest of us have access to more courses than we have time/urgency/motivation..
And most of the time its the same people enrolling..
People keep asking for coupons but I doubt how many have atleast half of their enrolled courses complete..

Some of the instructors whose courses I have shared here in the past have been very dissappointed with me (for the low completion rate)and now I don't ask any instructor for coupons..

I am also at fault, I also have a good amount of pending courses..

I don't know...I'm gonna do my best :)
