Thank you for the best user metrics bot in existence.

It seems that that having the new priority setting on "high" has reduced crashes. However crashes and restarts remain the biggest issue i have with pandabot.

Do you have any recommended settings, hardware configurations for running pandabot as smoothly as possible?

Panda Smart Browser needs multiple CPUs since it runs simultaneous tasks. I recommend using a computer with at least 2 CPUs and 2 GB memory.

CPU Priority Above Normal helps the PSB to run smoother.

Care to elaborate?

I'm having great results. What bothered me before was the constant crashing but since the new version 6.5.2, stability has been improved significantly.

This tool definitely has a learning curve, took me a month to really understand it's potential. It won't work for poor quality content and there are so many things you can screw up if you don't know what you are doing. Which is not the fault of the tool itself. So I can understand why a lot of people might give up on it. But all that is the very reason what makes it so powerful in the end.

Haven't found any really good guides for it, so I am planning to write one sometime in the future.

You wont have any idea how powerful and useful this tools is unless you really know what your are using it for . Simple as that .
This is a very powerful tool that you should be looking into and learning about.

RE: PandaBot.Net Free SEO Network
I am a PandaBot user for about 15 months now [free version]. Believe it or not...as a free user, I now have a credit of $372 toward future crowd-sourcing projects.

In the beginning, during the early versions, the bot was only about 50% reliable to run over 8 hours without crashing. The latest version, 6.5.2 is now running reliable for overnight posting about 90% of the time. It's not a perfect 100%, but 90% is very workable. I am sure it was those early versions that caused many of the complaints about the bot crashing. But now, things have changed, and for the better....

Keep in mind, that I am running it on a older laptop with a celeron single processor chip at 900 m/hrz. That is a slow chipset compared to anything built within the last 4 years. The bot still runs smoothly now for hours overnight, and crashes are very infrequent [haven't had a crash in the past 3 weeks], even on this slow chipset. I recommend setting the processor tab to "high" for best results.

HINT: Make sure you close out all other non-essential running processes on your taskbar [task manager] prior to running the bot overnight. Use your windows task manager to close out all optional processes prior to opening the bot.

This baby needs plenty of "Free Memory" in your system to run properly. Use your task manager to see what's running in the background and the amount of free memory you have available to your system.

If your processor is running high [above 25 % cpu] and you have little free memory available, then don't start the bot until you close out extraneous processes that are hogging up your system resources.... I still have success running my google drive [google drive uses about 15 - 25 % of my total resources] and pandabot [uses about 25% of total resources] at the same time overnight, and the success rate is still high with both tasks running all night.

But don't push your limits ! Those two processes are all I run overnight. If you're a taskbar hog running everything and the kitchen sink as an underlying task process, then this bot won't work on your system. Slim it all down to bantam weight prior to running the bot....then you'll have good results.... this is hugely important to do prior to running the bot.!!!

This is an amazing feat of programing, as if you know anything about the underlying programing system that the bot uses, you'll know that getting anything near 90% reliability run time is very good...especially since this bot is complicated.

So, the bot runs very well. The only other question, does the use of the bot system really help with ranking your website property on page one..???

I cannot answer that question yet, as I have been getting credits saved up by running it as a slave to other bot'ers, so as to build up credits. I have not been promoting my own projects, as I haven't created sites to promote during this time. PS: I am primarily a craigslist promoter, not seo guy.

However, that is all about to change now that I am starting to use Chris Winters Pay Per Call system to generate leads for local sites....[by the way, great system, highly recommended]

That will start in July, and I'll need crowd-sourcing to get sites ranked from scratch [according to Chris Winters system that uses PBN's and crowd-sourcing to get local sites ranking].

I update this post then....
