I don't have time to read it, but I wonder what they were?
I remember from the 70's "killer bees" (maybe a reference was on the cover?) that were a mix of African and American bee strains. Big scare back then that didn't materialize (they were supposed to come from mexico and attack)

On a smaller scale, I remember reading Cocoa wasn't so good, so the health food stores sold an alternative called (forgot the name!). Of course we all should know cocoa aint so bad.

How about oil fires in Kuwait? True, it was a problem, but didn't hit the US, as far as I know.

How about sitting hours a day in front of computer screen? I'm betting that is true and both physically and mentally bad.

I'm guessing, without reading it, that the book takes a light approach to artificial sweeteners and ingredients. How about flouride in water? Anyone care to review the book?
