RE: Anthony Morrison’s MobileOptin
Bump

Its a web based app, highly overpriced. But it looks very cool, and works like this:

A web visitor arrives at a squeeze page and sees the offer.

They are offered an incentive such as a free report to opt-in. However, there is no form on the web page where they can enter their email.

Instead of filling out a form, they are given the option to subscribe to your list by tapping on a button.

Tapping on that button triggers the phone’s default email client to open.

The phone’s email client makes use of their default email address that they most commonly use. In other words, the email address that will be entered is their real one and not the fake one that many web surfers use to get free reports.

A pre-filled email opens and using the app, you are able to control both the body and the subject line of the mail they will send to you.

They will be added to your email list as soon as they tap the send button on the email that has been opened.

Maybe someone have seen something like this that is cheaper and can be downloaded and installed?

Bump for this.. Soo wish I could pull the trigger on this just to share the results!! I think this would be tough to GB for unless we've got a tight knit group that wants to work together in some form to begin to buy individual licences???. Would be neat to get programmed ourselves, no? I don't have any experience with software... Does anyone have any advice/experience to offer?

There has to be a workaround. He can't be the only one that has this figured out. I believe it utilizes the mailto html code, but how to redirect after is beyond me.

Matt Bacak did something like this a couple years ago. Mobile squeeze page magic, I think was the name. It might even be on here somewhere. Matt's was a WP plugin

RE: Anthony Morrison’s MobileOptin
Solid explanation! Yeah, I know of someone who got the lifetime and the development of this tool has gone way beyond!

It's now a full on white label app that allows client management, including custom permissions to any level. My friend actually sold one "sub-account" for $900 and the client believes it was well worth the investment.

They do plan on opening it back up, but you will NOT see a lifetime as its on their cloud hosting and lightning fast!

Yes, you can actually replicate the process with some code, but it'll need to be on your own hosting, taking time for each site. MobileOptin is simple to setup other custom domains and covers all the bandwidth.

We think it was well worth the investment! ;)

Perfect 10
