Second, you can't sign up for their free month of courses without first giving them your credit card number! I guess they are hoping you forget to cancel your membership and charge your card $29 every subsequent month.

As most people do forget to cancel a membership lol. This should not be here and should be moved if not removed completely.

For those of you who don't know about stone river and their udemy association-

Stone river has had courses on udemy for years. They also have their own site for courses. What they have added to udemy is the same ones they have on their site, but their site has more than what they have added to udemy.

is this thread spam and/or not udemy related? well,... yes. But I will VOUCH for stone river's courses. They are well done, informative, and worth checking into. Fair warning, though- They are mostly web design courses, but legit real instructional courses. not fly-by-night or bad copies of someone else's work/courses.

As for the comment about wanting your credit card info first, It's not that they hope you forget, they (he, actually) hope you find too many courses you want to take and can't by the end of the month, so you'll keep it till you finish all the courses your interested in.

this is an endorsement of stone river's legitimacy, but not of the OP creating this thread. This thread is against BBHF policy. peace..
