Updated Installation Videos

One-Click Install

Many of you are familiar with installing themes. Because themes don’t normally come filled with content and images you would then need to restore the database to get the site to the point that it is done for you.

Because this is a bit technical we have used WP Clone to create a one click install process for you to restore the site and the content in its database to make it as easy as possible to get things up and running.

Please follow these instructions to install your site and please note that managed wordpress hosts will generally have problems with this process which is why we recommend a full cPanel host or working directly with your managed host by giving them the files to install manually on your behalf.

Step 1 | Install WP Clone by WP Academy - http://embed.wistia.com/deliveries/dc876...a/file.mp4

- We use WP Clone to copy the site into your wordpress install with one click but first you must install the plugin
- In your WP Site Plugins section click add new and search for; WP Clone by WP Academy
- If you cannot find it searching your plugins in your site you can download it and install it from here manually: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-clone-by-wp-academy/

If you are only installing one site you can use one of the following links with WP Clone to install your site. These links will be live for 30 days. If you are installing multiple sites or want to use the install files to install customer sites or beyond 30 days please follow the upload instructions in step 3

- Login to your WP Admin account
- Navigate to the WP Clone plugin
- Follow the video to restore from URL, update permalink settings, and access your new website
- New site user password (You will need to use this user / pass to get into your new site):
User: webadmin
Pass: webadmin1

Step 3 | Upload your desired templates to one of your web servers - http://embed.wistia.com/deliveries/53cbc...2/file.mp4

- Download the 1 click install file from the membership area
- Unzip the file on your local computer Template1OneClickInstall.zip (#1 = the template number you have downloaded so it may say 2 or 3 for you)
- In the folder labeled “One Click Install” you will find the file named: template1-one-click-install (will have a 2 or a 3 depending on the template you are installing)
- Upload this file to any web server as you will direct the WP Clone Plugin to copy this file as the installer for your site. You will then be able to use this installer to install on as many wordpress installations as you would like.
