Did you check if it has backdoor code or are you saying it might have it?

I check using Theme Authenticity Checker (TAC) plugin and said it was fine. What do you suggest using to detect malicious or potentially unwanted code?

TAC is no good to detect wplocker backdoors. You might want to check it with ie: lightbeam (firefox add on) or something similar to that..

I also checked using Sucuri plugin and lightbeam plugin - the theme, td-social-counter, td-speed-booster, and revslider were fine.

There MAY have been some issue with the visual composer ( but you can switch that out with Visual Composer used in v6.1 in other thread http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-GET-...-June-2015 because the VC version no# is the same. ).

I could repackage it but I'm not going to step on the ocguys toes. ( or just wait for his release??)

I did a check on virustotal.com and it said all were clean. I've told you what I've done ( and yes they were found links, and I'm using myself ). These are all things you can check yourself to confirm if I'm missing something or not.

In case that's not good enough I bundled the v6.2 I found with the replaced Visual Composer ( from ocguy thread ) and put them on zippyshare.org
