I dont think that anyone was suggesting that you had anything to do with the malware, risk, it is embedded in the script itself, as are many malware programs.

its a good idea to do a virustotal scan before putting links up for scripts/themes etc

the malware is added in to the program by the creators of the script - it is not malware so much as adware
