yes, they kicked a lot of them, they always have! all social sites do it, and they do it often! facebook, youtube, linkedin... they all do... just every so often they will kick half a million people or so in one day and then send out a press release to get some free publicity, this happens so often that many media outlets will not even mention it, only on a slow news day

people are always reporting the scammers and spammers, yeah, people hate spam, so spammers always get kicked, they even block your ip address after a few violations, etc

just like google, yahoo, bing and many of the search engines slap websites that use unpopular seo techniques that are always being sold on the bso forum, etc... some even get banned or de-listed as well

EVERYDAY i hear from people who got banned, many of them say 'i did nothing wrong' when actually they did, they listened to the advice of a bso scammer, or some other fake guru... less than an hour ago i read an email from someone who is having trouble with facebook, they always shut down her account, she sent me a screen capture and instantly i saw she violated a facebook rule for personal pages, your timeline image is not allowed to be a call to action or other sales banner! period! that is the rule, yes, people break it all the time, but they will get banned sooner or later... they did it to her a few times and will likely do it again... sorry, i do not give idiots free advice, when you join ANY website you have to agree to certain rules! if you are a member of any website, you agreed to something, READ IT! read the rules... it is all the people who always try to sue facebook and other social sites, for sharing their personal info, guess what? you agreed to that when you joined, if you make it to court with your case the judge ALWAYS throws out the case in the first few minutes, the site shows the judge the agreement you agreed to, you clicked i accept! so you lose the case instantly... p.s. all the social sites have also added a clause, that you are not allowed to sue them for a list of reasons, so if you try it, they have the option of suing you for violating that clause, and then you lose again, but this time YOU will have to pay all the court costs of the site! they hire really expensive lawyers, you will owe a LOT of money!
