What I'm doing is preventing this forum going the way of entire freebie section full of mega threads with nothing and just messages of "thanks, rep+ given, please share links".

This will also be my last reply on this issue. And, yes, you will also find yourself on my ignore list. It's a little chilly on the list, cos you'll be the only one there.

Probably you still don't get my views..

The last thing we want is the entire freebie section full of mega threads with nothing and just replies of "thanks, just rep+ you, kindly share download links".

If you don't want these backdoor links shared publicly in freebie section, you (or some forummers) can simply upload to file sharing sites and mirror from there. In my opinion, this is far more powerful and effective (and efficient as well) than simply 1 person replying to the entire load of Pms and everyone has to wait for your reply.

Forward my replies to NC if you want. I've nothing to hide. We have forummers here amassed thousands and thousands of points without having the need to hold links until rep+ are given. I'm glad to find this forum and I did upgrade to VIP with my own money (not gifted or otherwise) at a time when I'm working for minimum wage.

So, if the entire freebie section is full of threads requesting for thanks and reps+ before links are share, then where is the value for forummers to see and then upgrade to VIP in order to access premium shares + support the forum?

Incidentally, I had about 3x your rep points, but I never had to hold any shares from forummers here until they rep me. :)

Why so hard up for points? You won't gain anything even if you have thousands of points... And, also, points gained from others giving freely and willingly is always much more worth it than points gained by holding others at ransom.

there is several other people who ask for reps in return for sharing, we take time out of our day to post awesome shares, the least you all could do is do something in return to show you appreciate us, and not showing your appreciation towards people who contribute to the site, is disrespecting your fellow members, which is also against the rules.

I didn't post some peace of shit WSO, so yes I asked for something in return, this is why people don't post premium shares in the freebie section.

but like I said there was everything there no one was held ransom, but they had an option to get access to the members area which was only shared with VIPs, I think thats well worth a measly 5 reps, there was people doing group buys for this course.

I noticed that both of you are VIPs. That is the more reason why we, mere mortals, in the freebee section do appreciate value shares that are normally just reserved for the creme de la creme.
I thank the gods in the VIP section that can sometimes look down on us as also worthy of receiving some bread crumbs from their table of plenty.

Then there are the genuine members of this great forum, VIP or not, who share regardless and selfless. We get to know them by the quality of their shares. They are the ones who really deserve the title "SELFLESS" which to my mind is what the hart of this forum is about.

The question which everyone should answer is:

Am I here to boost my own ego and self importance or am I here to join a great forum and be part of a family where the members trust, help, respect and support each other?

One thing that made me join this forum was because it was unlike many other BH forums out there, but I agree that it's kind of pitiful to see members begging for 'reps' when these things mean nothing anywhere in the world.

When we share we should leave people to either show their appreciate or not. That's a choice for them to make.

It gets even worse when a member 'demands' that other members rep them or / and PM them in order to get access to a link. It defeats the whole purpose and definition of 'community' guys and gals.

Useless "Thanks" and other Related Non Value-Add Comments

We all know the game.

People post comments that add no value (especially newbies and those that have been away from here for ages) in order to boost their count.

Is this really necessary?

In other forums this type of action has been frowned on and officially banned for quite some time now, and it's time BBHF takes the same action.

If you want respect and to be respected, just keep on adding value to the forum and Karma will catch up with you. It's not hard at all. You can dedicate a few minutes everyday to adding something of value to BBHF and I guarantee you'll be amazed at the results because people appreciate and recognize value...they can also see through the 'post/points boosting' tricks you're playing.

We're all learning and that's why we're here (because let's face it, we use less than 5% of what we download). Don't be afraid to learn how to add value because when you take that mindset to other places e.g. the WF (maybe a bad example) you'll already be accustomed to giving and you will gain true credibility that's not through 'forced recognition.'

well said, but you people need to understand the difference between crappy wso freebies and premium shares.

at the end of the day tho, crappy wso or premium share, it doesn't matter as it will just set on the hard drive.

people downloading premium shares without repping or even a mirror at least are assholes.

reps let me know that people like what I am sharing, so I can share similar stuff.
