What's going on everyone,

This is my first time not only trying out CPA marketing in the adult niche, but also posting in a forum lol so I'm extremely new to this game, but we all start from the bottom before we get to the top.

I have been seeing a lot of people post follow alongs and I know that Tuan and Jay encourage creating one for accountability purposes, and also by sharing the mistakes you may experience, can also help someone else not face the same mistakes.

So even though this is my very first time really trying out CPA marketing, I see a huge amount of potential with this and I'm a big believer that once you get it down to a science you can literally print money legally!

So I've purchased CPV labs as my tracking solution and have everything finally working (...after losing a sh*t load of money on previous campaigns not knowing how to create a postback url)

...and I've decided to run a web based campaign first since using adcalc.net as it looked like with a web based offer, there would be higher payouts than mobile, and it would be easier to get profitable on a web offer since mobile seems like you will run on REALLY thin margins.


My testing budget is: $1,000-$2,000

And with that I've decided to run a niche dating offer. (e.g. like ebony dating, asian dating, russian dating)

Currently running the offer on neverblue as I've not been able to get into contact with my account manager at Smash, but hopefully when I do I can run the same offer on Smash so at least I have 2 offers to split test. But for now I'm running 2 variations of the offer landing page.

Traffic source I'm using to test the campaign is traffic junky and i'm focusing on mastering ONE placement which is a next to video placement and one country outside US/CA since I think there will be less competition as a newbie.

Currently testing 5 landing pages and 5 different ripped banners

Currently the highest bidder for that placement.


I had a marketing event so I let the campaign run to collect some data for a few days, and so far I've only received:

158 clicks on my banners
89 clicks on my landing page
LP CTR on average is 56.33%
1 conversion on the offer that pays out $7.20 per lead

So my biggest concern right now is what would you recommend to do to get more traffic since I'm the highest bidder and I know one conversion and only a hundred or so clicks doesn't mean sh*t?

Because it's a niche type of fetish, i'm bidding on keywords with traffic junky since I thought people who search may like ebony dating may type in ebony into a tube site.

So would you recommend creating another campaign in CPV labs and traffic junky where I simply just bid on the geo to get more traffic? Or duplicate this campaign with more placements on other websites?

Any input would be great as I'm real new to this game, and I'm really looking to master adult.

Keyword targeting on TJ is useless...theres your problem lmao. If you want category specific, exoclick is the way to go.
