@algprince, yes it's been working for a long time now, and has been sold in wf a lot of times as another way to make-business-owners-literally-begging-you-to-take-their-money...
Twitter doesn't offer this to all countries though, your country has to be supported. And it takes a lot of effort to persuade a real business owner to use twitter for his/her sms campaigns. First you have to make one understand the real value of twitter, and for many people twitter is still a kid's play.
