Just glanced at this and found it useful, not because I want to become a paid writer (I write for my own sites) but for its analysis of how to write good articles that provide high SE rankings.

ditto. the business model suggested was too "busy", never ending, never passive, doubt if anyone here would even contemplate that. but the article writing method was useful.

You could think outside the box a little. Take his business model and instead of you doing all the writing. Just be the middleman and set up your own complete website service site. Just hire freelancers to take care of the work for you. You can even hire salesmen to get work for you. All while you kick back and earn what is left over.
