Yes, the newest version 6.68 doesn't work. I don't know if 6.67 works but 6.66 it's working.

Okay, I got it to work. Here is what I did....

I did the trial a very long time ago and uninstalled it after.

So today I downloaded the new one. Most likely 6.68 version.

Here's what I did:
0. Installed newest version of GSA SER
XP:
1. My computer
2. Click Tools
3. Folder Options
4. Scroll down in Advanced settings and uncheck "Use Simple File Sharing"
5. Apply, Okay..

6.Go to C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\GSA Search Engine Ranker
7.Right click config.ini and select properties.
8.Select Security and select Deny Full Control for all users.
9.Click advance and make sure none are allowed.

10.Rolled my time back to 2006 just in case. Not sure it helped.

11. Downloaded GSA Ser Ranker 1.74

12. Installed and ran it. Works like a charm.

I've never used GSA SER so I'll have to watch some beginners tuts.

You installed 1.74 over 6.68 ??

What version is now after installing 1.74 over latest one?

Yes, I installed it over 6.68. I actually uninstalled it because I have no knolledge of GSA SER Ranker and feel more comfortable with SEnuke. I also have Scrapebox paid and Nhs so there really isn't a need for GSA SER. However, I believe that you could install over 1.74 with an update that his in the 6.xx provided that you can find those installs. If you have them be kind (anyone) and host the files.

I installed 6.68 and after that I installed over the 1.74 version. And, logically, I get 1.74... I don't get it, how you managed to still have v 6.68 ?

Can someone upload GSA 6.66 or anything lower, like 6.65 6.64 etc ?

all the small icons are download locations.

just hover over the small icons so that you can confirm it is "search_engine_ranker.zip". select one of the sites and download.
