Hey I found this share elsewhere, tried it out, and couldnt be happier with it.

I spent like an hour searching for godaddy codes, then I found this, and it did all the work for me

Its a chrome extension and fire plugin that automatically finds the best coupon codes, tries them all and selects the best price coupon code for you to use.

Works on godaddy, bought three .99 cent domains earlier today. Also works from amazon, newegg and bunch of other good sites we all frequent.

Magic Button :
1.- Go to http://joinhoney.com/?r=chrome download and install the extension.
OR for Firefox go here http://joinhoney.com/?r=firefox
2.- Go to godaddy and pick your domain/domains and go to the checkout page like you normally would

3.- If you installed the extension correctly, you should see that orange button at the buttom that says "find savings", click it and the magic will be done.

4.- Wait until it test all the coupon codes and gives you the best one

5.- Buy it [Image: smile.png]

Which webhost did you use? What country are you located? And were you doing a new registration or renewal? If you dont mind me asking. :)

Im in Canada, and It easily found me three 99cent codes....i watched it as it searched through them and it also found a bunch of $2 codes aswell.

It works for NEW .coms, I heard from some people that renewal codes were few and far between, but .com new reg's on godaddy, at least in North America are working.

One last thing, did it just not work at all? Or it worked, went through the motions but just came up with no good codes?

Works on some sites from the 122+ in the honey pot [no pun intended!]

Make sure you have NO ad blocker and / or chrome option that blocks popups, when using honey EG: keep a chrome window just for using it in, without extensions running, then it works [most of the time] very well...

Come a long way since this!

The Honey blog makes very good reading and helps with how you can save in places that you thought you would not!

This is BIG, make sure your adblocker is OFF.

And if that still fails, open a chrome window, turn off all extensions except for this one.

I didnt have to do the second one, but if anyones having trouble give that a try!
Awesome, Work fine, Thanks

rep added Cool
I copied the following from the pop-up that appears when you click on the install button on the website:

"In order to apply coupons to your cart, Honey needs access to your data on websites, tabs and browsing activity. However...
Honey is free with no registration.
No adware. No spyware. No malware.
No personal information required or used
."

In other words, this extension is acting as spyware in the background, or am I interpreting that wrong? Huh

^^You are definitely interpreting that wrong. Its standard for ANY extension or plugin you install. It needs to be able to access the data and your browser tabs from godaddy to be able to INPUT the codes into the code spot, click the redeem button and see if its valid. It even says no spyware/malware in the popup.

This isnt a Rinky dink extension, this was featured on CNBC, moneymag, Lifehacker and Business insider. Its clean and legit
got it working ..tried 10 org's and all were aorund $12.50 WITH the discount! lol
