I have an ecom store, so i'm using a VA to do some manual backlinking but it appears they're doing the same method and it doesn't appear to be working or at least very quickly. They've done some bookmarks, yahoo answer, blog comments and product listings.

Obviously, i know people dont want to give up their "secret sauce" techniques etc. but wondering if someone could give me some ideas for a better gameplan for my VA?

first of all, what is your objective? I mean, obviously you want more traffic to your site but are you doing this to rank higher in serps or just to drive direct traffic to your site?

Yes :)

More qualified traffic. Ideally, climbing serps to bring in more traffic. I'm not driving with bogus kw, all my kw are related and specific to the products i sell.
