I have amazon blogs that allow a visitor to register for to enter a wishlist. I am getting tons of fake registrations and would like to know what possible benefit/danger there is with these registrations.

I have read the anti spam laws :) You could always select a lead which looks spammy as the winner which is good for you :) You have complete rights to email all of them as long as it is displayed before they enter, just make sure you have some sort of unsubscribe option or email to unsubscribe or something and you are all good :)
