An update is coming for LID soon, so would *advise* if you have played/tested/banked/got some new LI contacts with the fix here, to go buy it as the licensing system will be updated to serverside and the price will be MORE :-) [early birdy gets the wormy!]

Thank you VERY much for the share and the pdf instructions. I followed the instructions but it still wouldn't work, then I noticed a very small mistake in the instructions:-
STEP 5
In this folder find the file LD_LicensensingManager.exe and rename it to 1-LD_LicensensingManager.exe
I didn't notice that the file was renamed incorrectly (and spelt wrong), and I just copied and pasted it. Anyway, it's working fine now!

WIP > the 32bit is a bit harder to fix/test as the directory structure still looks for a folder outside the install setup
Have you tried to run this version in XP SP3 mode in 64bit windows?
