I tried this last year with not much luck because I needed several months to rank... But I stuck around the second half of the top 10 for a few games and made a few hundred bucks. Wasn't worth it though. Pretty much just made enough to cover the SEO and PPC expenses. Be very careful to promote games that aren't marketed towards intelligent audiences unless you can create exceptional content.

Games is still sell good. I created my amazon game site without doing any serious seo or promotion, just some links (no more than 5) and get some sales.
