It's easy to get confused by the Tags on this Forum
You get various results according to whether:
Magic Button :
You input the Tags by hand(in this case 'SPOILER')
[HIDE]in this case 'HIDE'
(notice the 'HIDE' at the front, '/SPOILER' at the end, effect)
Magic Button :
in this case 'HIDE' + Color
Magic Button :
(in this case 'HIDE'+ 'BRACKETS')
OR
[hide]if you use the ToolBar 'PADLOCK' icon'
or
Magic Button :
(if you use the ToolBar on 'BRACKETED text)
=============
You see the Toolbar uses the 'HIDE' Tags
which only work on URLs that have been Tagged as URLS
(either with the ToolBar or by hand)
or
Magic Button :
(any text surrounded by 'BRACKETS')
EVEN untagged URLS:
=============
So it's best to use 'SPOILER' Tags
(which can only be done by hand)
as they hide any kind of text.
or if you are feeling lazy
just
Magic Button :
('BRACKET' it and use the ToolBar)
