The pdf is decent, although it's a bit lacking in specifics when it comes to backlinking and getting the sites ranked. The videos on the other hand, at least the 3-4 I saw, were pretty much a waste of time, and were simply the two of then sitting in a room rambling on about how great they are, and telling their life's stories, lol. Waste of bandwidth.

Try to skim through Rules and Instructions section (sticky thread). Can't you imagine what's the "default" word mean? It's default, meaning it's a RULE here in this forum. Just do a quick search for it.
Anyway, there're a newer version of this Fast Start Guide updated in Sep 2013 with Google Keyword Planner update.
