I just finished reading Affiliate zombie... it generally suggests to make a whole lot of quality affiliate blogs, with minimal SEO, then update them slowly, making a new blog website every week, and at least one new post every day.

Then I was searching for niche ideas, and I read a suggestion that it's better to only have a few blogs and work them up.

So, what do you think is best? Tons of blogs, or just a few? I'm not automating anything right now.

The problem with multiple money sites, is the price to start up. If you focus on one at a time, you can build up an authority site that will continue to make you money for years. Use that profit to expand to another niche. Thats what I do anyways.
No...

This guy is asking about niche blogs. And after reading his post, he has just read "Affiliate Zombie". I haven't read it, and it's probably re-hashed shit and a waste of money. But giving the name of it, and a general idea of what topic it's covering... He question is more geared towards micro niche blogs.

Why micro vs a whole niche? Odds are, you are not going to rank for keywords that are targeting a whole niche. Such as "Golfing" or "HP Laptops". You want to target specific things, such as "HP LCD Monitors" or "Wilson Golf Balls" or "Yellow Corvette Z06".. More specific things. However, not too specific that you only have 1 thing to post about lol.. Your tryin to find a happy medium, where you are getting away from high competition, impossible to rank for, keywords... and keywords that are too easy to rank for and nobody is searching them.. After all, you could easily put up a billboard in the middle of the desert... but nobody is going to see it!

It seems like the guy above me has a hard time with time management. Unless you are really slow with computers, or have a S***** setup making a 5 minute task take hours, it isn't hard to manage 5 or even 10 blogs. Of course, use Wordpress. There are other options, but Wordpress blogs rank the best and easiest. If you made the exact same site (in terms of page title, post content, ect.) as a static website and also made a wordpress version, the wordpress version would outrank your normal static site 9 times out of 10. It has to do with Google loving wordpress blogs and giving them an "edge" because Google knows wordpress sites are EASY for visitors to navigate! The user-end feel is perfect and clean. Also, the Google spiders can easily finger through your site. Wordpress makes Google's job easier. Using wordpress, it should only take you 5-10 minutes per post (unless your writing long long articles)..

Why not just 1 site? What are the chances that 1 site is going to make you money? It may take a couple of months to get it to where it is getting traffic and will probably only make you $100 a month.. It may take 6+ months to get it to the 100-$500 range. Some sites take off faster, make more money, get more traffic... Do NOT put all of your eggs in one basket! Spread out. It is called the "Machine Gun" method. If you pop up 10 sites, a couple may not make anything, a few may make $100.. and a couple may make you $300, $400, $600..

You don't have to update every day.. Just once maybe twice a week. If you monetize your site properly, do good keyword research in picking the niche and keywords... in 3-4 months you can easily have a site making you a couple hundred bucks a month. Experience and a bit of luck, will get you a site making over $1k a month! So don't count on it, especially if your a beginner!

I recommend setting a GOAL to get 5 sites setup. EACH ONE in a DIFFERENT niche! Make sure there are products for you to make money with. I HATE ADSENSE! It is PEANUTS and CHUMP CHANGE! I go for stuff I can find Clickbank or other CPA offers for. Also, build a list with your site so you can mail them other offers. Even your "How to knit underwear" blog can end up providing leads for "make money online" stuff.. You just have to know how to filter and move those leads. It's called surveying your leads, or qualifying them! Setup a nice "popup" to give them something free, in exchange they optin to your list or "LIKE" your page. Use an "Exit Pop".. Use OTO, aka "Upsells". For example, on your free gift where they optin to your list to get the gift.. Thats a great time to do a OTO. OTO = One Time Offer. If you don't know wtf it is, then go checkout a couple of items for sale on WarriorForum. You will see upsells, where you have to click "No Thanks" to continue.

Make sure you do proper keyword research. YOU SHOULD NOT be trying for "make money online", "work from home". If anyone is going for those keywords, and thats their only site/keywords they are going for, and they have been trying to "make money" off the internet for more than 6 months, then they are a freaking M****! Sorry, but it's true!

Get your 5 sites setup. Update them at least weekly. If you did everything well, you should be making over $500/month total for all 5 sites within a couple months (2-6 months).. After a couple months, focus harder on the sites making the most money.. The ones that aren't doing well, you need to find out why... if the keyword doesn't get search a lot and your ranking for the keywords, toss the site it's garbage... If your not ranked 1st page for your keywords, then you can do better. If the keywords DO get searched enough, then possible ranking on the 1st page could be all you need.. So kick up your SEO.

It should not take you more then 6 months to establish a good "micro niche" site. If you can't, and you can't rank for your "micro" keywords in 6 months.. Then you fucked up.. Either you suck at SEO, or you suck at keyword research, and your picking bad keywords/niche's. So go back to the drawing board!

DO NOT think your going to rank for awesome keywords that get search a million times a month... I bet you my ass, that you will never rank for it, so don't waste your time!

I have helped 100s of people with my consultation... I see it time and time and time again.. people just don't learn, then they are oblivious to what the problem is.. "Why am I not making any money, I keep updating my site, working my butt off...." cry cry cry.. 99% of the time, it is because they blindly picked a keyword off the top of their head, and the keyword is one that A) Has too much competition and they will never rank for it, or B) Flat out doesn't get any searches at all...
