One of the benefits of being a Google's Spider is the fact that almost all sites open the door for you , and welcoming you to come inside , even to the darkest rooms!
Did you ever tried to a restricted site but you couldn't get pass the "Doorman"?!
How many times you've Googled something , found an interesting post , but the site asked you to register b4 you can get access to read?
I'm going to show you guys how to bypass that "Doorman".
Ingredients:
Firefox
5 minutes
And a list of sites
Here is how to make this magic happen:
Magic Button :
Open your firefox , on the address bar type : about:config
Confirm and promise ;) that you'll be carefull
Now look for this string: accessibility.browsewithcaret_shortcut.enabled , it should be the forth or fifth from top.
Right click it , choose string>new
Paste this in the opened box : general.useragent.override , hit ok
Then paste this user-agent in the box : Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html) , and hit ok
You're done!
Now to check if it worked , go to this link : http://whatsmyuseragent.com/
If you did all right - you will have the Google bot user-agent.
Now start your journey as Google's spider :)
For getting the default user-agent back to default:
Paste : general.useragent.override on the address bar , right click and choose the reset option.
Enjoy your ride!

yes , it can work with google cache , but not for 100% , and many times what you see on your browser can be not updated information.
with the trick i've posted , it's 100% success rate.
