For those who dont believe backlinks are still the king, check Matt (fat ass) Cutts begging to report "Spammy" sites with "Spammy links" hehe

all of my sites get more sticky after these updates so i'm glad when they take place, went from 50 to 100 visitors a day without doing anything, also find that you don't need very many links these days.
