My Review:

Lots of superficial basic stuff, but well laid out:
1) How to buid a list (Squeeze offer + Traffic section)
-how to make a very fast first free report for getting people to subscribe
-forum marketing the right way (by helping out in your niche - in your unique personal way)
-let your forum signature attract the fans you want (with example)

2) Do's and Don'ts for the list
-Maintain a good offer to value ratio
-how to find content for the list (ask about their problems, guide them to answers)
-answer to questions list members ask (mention them in your answer and thank themfor the question!)
-give content in the subject line, but don't trick anyone to open our mail

3) Product reviews
-give your hones opinion
-mix good with bad reviews
-if you know more about the product: give pros and cons (my most trusted marketer says 'if you have X, product Y might help you')
-provide bonuses that outweight or nullify the cons of the product
-alsways state your affiliate status at the end!

4) Test and twek
-use different squeze pages, sales pages etc.
-install analytics (Google, Bing, Prosper202 statpress - whatever)
-test yourself to success

Missing:
-lot's of "How to's" - He's telling you the What, but not the How...

I was labelled a reviewer by the mods, as I am likely to add my 2 cents about products I download.

I have an aversion against traditional internet marketing right now. It works for the good guys...
Seth Godin said in his road trip: A musician, who has only 3000 fans - who buy an album ($30) ONCE a year can live a very comfortable life.
He's right:
90000 gross,
-3600 (4% PayPal fees)
-9000 (Kunaki expenses)
Any problems to live from 75400 a year? I see none.

Nine Inch Nails put their albums on the website (mp3, standard quality) and don't have any publisher. If you can build a fan base via YouTube and/or FB, you can do this too.
So, if you give enough value (here: emotion through music) to your fans, they will happily shell out money for your products (CDs and concert tickets).

I'm more into offline coaching/business consulting. Here, I can see the progress directly. I am also more a teacher than a doer (even if I'm gifted with Internet technology).

So, the big money niches are clear (vanity/health, relationships, self help, finances, sports/gaming, pets).
The fabric of life (thanks Kevin Nations for the analogy) is formed of four threads:
Family (relationships),
Finances (self-help, career, busines),
Fitness (health/sports as activity)
Faith (spirituality - also in the self-help section)

Choose one, provide value (lots of small tips, tools, methods) with your own edge to their problems.
Sell fitting systems, courses, better tools, seminars through the stories in your mails.
