I agree. It certainly is not a scam - direct mail is a viable money-making method that predates the internet by several decades. The book is very informative and if you implement the methods described in it, you can start earning a decent income.

the way he did it, it WAS a scam, and it was a big one,
with 432,000+ identified victims, so he ended in jail,
and was prohibited from doing business over the internet!!!

It's about direct response marketing. It does not matter that the guy who wrote this book did many things wrong. But he also did many things right. So, don't make his mistakes. Just take the right ideas ideas and use them. I cannot thank enough the person that shared this info.
This guy is a blackhat lord isn't he. What the many people who actually read this share seems to be asking the rest of us is, to not make an Ad Homenian fallacy - Meaning just because he is a criminal, doesn't make what he has to offer worthless or evil. You can only pass judgement on the nature of the content after you read it.
There's a heap of cr*p in here from Fabricio Cruz that is a waste of time for you to even open.
Heck he even includes a bundle of books he's slapped his name on from PLR (but then he does point out in his '1K a day challenge' that PLR is where he gets his products from).
IMO the only title worth reading is James's 'How I Made $77 Million Book'

Pay particular attention to the chapter on page 32 about Mailing Lists if you're thinking about Direct Mail (and on the basis of this, you should).
