I just checked out a few venues here in Glasgow and immediately came across an Italian Restaurant which has lots of reviews and into the hundreds of "check ins" and it's unclaimed!
With some further inspection, there are lots of these out there, it doesn't take long to find lots of hot prospects.
I don't have to say how powerful it will be to take this to the customer, help them claim it and then help them use the stats and tools provided by foursquare to make a huge positive impact on their business.
Oh and the business doesn't have a mobile site and a few other vital pieces of the marketing puzzle, so when their new savvy marketing consultant who has just given them this massive edge mentions these things, there's likely to be a very positive response.
This is hands down one of the best foot in the door methods out there for offline.

Ok... Guys here is my real review of this...
This is a well put together course that shows you a
very simple and easy way to get your foot in the door with
small businesses.
Anybody can do this. Even if you have little to no experience
at all.
This is a STEP-BY-STEP guide on how to successfully land
clients.
This is a real method James has tweaked over time and now
gives you the entire step by step system.
It was a great read, I learned a lot, And I love all the work you put into creating this guide James!
If you are on the fence, Get in now.

Quote: "The important thing to realise when using foursquare with local clients is that the goal is not to sell Foursquare services, but to rather use it as a mechanism for getting your foot in the door, earning trust, and selling the client into other more profitable services, all in lightning-quick time. I have found this to work very well.
The course is broken up into modules and mindmaps making it very easy to follow, along with copious screenshots for detailed explanations.
Highly recommended if you business model involves local restaurants, pubs, clubs, bars, cafe's, coffe shops etc.
