How I can explain you ? Ummm, normally when you buy a theme, he catch your pp email, and the system generate a key until here we're agree ! so as you know, the author can login his dashboard and can see your email .
Maybe if you ask your self, why this theme isn't rocking on WF ? why just 3 or 4 people who bought from this developer ?
The answer is very simple :) this developer was reported by many buyers on wf as a Hacker....
Anyway, the answer your question , YES he can get your Wordpress username + password too :)

I already have some wp theme from this developer (nulled of course)
fortunately I never use 'em on my site
just tested @ localhost and see if they worth enough to use
IMO their theme buggy and not worth to use .... moreover to pay
