Definitely worth the time to read it. Both the original PDF and the OTO have good information. A tad over-priced, but as I can see using this strategy and see that it would work really well for me, I figured it was a good investment (unlike most BSOs!)
Yes, there is an OTO. It's currently $15, and it's an additional case study of what she did after her first book launch (her second book launch, using her new audience from this technique).

Quote:Hi Rob,
Great idea, nicely worked out. I've bought many about-Kindle products already, but this is one that's really practical and doable. Thanks.

Quote:I did hesitate initially because of the cost. I usually don't like to spend that much for something, especially since so much of what I've picked up here has turned out to be just another rehash job and not even worth the $7 I've paid for it.
I don't like going into a purchase with the idea that I can get a refund. I prefer to make a solid buying decision to start with and hate being disappointed when it totally fails to live up to even the basic hype.
However I did take the plunge and picked up the OTO.
Firstly, I would say that the $17 should have included the information in the OTO. That would have felt fairer to me than the total of $29.
However, price aside, I will say that the information presented definitely made this a useful purchase and one that I can and will be using shortly.
The timing was perfect for me as I already have one book out (fiction) that's a prequel to a series and am working on a novella that is another prequel to the series and which was going to be free. Now I'll be using this approach instead as soon as I finish this novella.
As I said, it's a bit more pricey than I think it should be, but the information is solid and I'm not sorry I picked it up (unlike some other things I've made the mistake of purchasing). I can definitely see using this approach.
One of the things I like about it is that it's creative and has a lot of potential (depending on your book).
I would suggest creating a short story or novella (for fiction) or short report (for non-fiction) specifically with this approach in mind as you can then tailor it more appropriately and get more mileage for your efforts.
One caveat I would suggest is that your work has to be GOOD to make this work. If it's a hack job or something a traditional publisher would toss in the trash after the first paragraph, it's not going to work. Make sure you use a professional editor and proofreader to make it sparkle. It will be worth it.
I hate Robs stuff .... most stupidity in scamming ahead of the crowd.... and even in bad stuff you find often some good stuff, at least a little. but here... donno to say anything good... lets give this one another try again...to check if he aint bad
