I think what most folks are saying is they are reading the SAME strategies, but these sales letters are written to have you believe that a new strategy is being sold, which is what good sales copy is supposed to do in my opinion. These comments are targeted for those of us that already know the basics of video marketing, which is why you normally see folks say thanks for saving my bandwidth, etc.
These comments, in most cases do not mean if you are new to video marketing, that you should not check it out for yourself.
Keep in mind that the video ranking strategy you use should be based on the type of videos you are creating. Product launch videos, affiliate product name videos and niche competitive keyword videos require different strategies, which is why you sometimes find WSOs that target one or all of the above type videos.
I have created, ranked and made money with this WSO, but these type videos quickly dominated IM product launches, so I no longer use this method:

The most thorough product I've read from niche selection to ranking videos was the Traffic Jeet FSO, which I'm now using for competitive keyword videos for my weight loss blog. I'm not referring to the software being sold, but the 113 page advanced traffic training manual that is included with the product.
I love video marketing and the one good thing about reading a good number of WSOs is you eventually create your own business model and mine is below:
-I target weight loss keywords for my blog which is monetized with PLR, Rapbank, Clickbank and CPA offers
-I research my weight loss keywords with Market Samurai and Tube Sniper Pro
-I use PLR articles and Curation Fire plugin to add content to my blog
-I create Powerpoint slides, a scripted audio track at audacity.com and record videos with Windows Movie Maker
-I optimize and rank my video based on the Traffic Jeet manual
-I offer a free PLR weight loss report (with affiliate links) in my video and video description
-I optimize my blog traffic with WP-ClickDot and WP-Passive Profits plugins
Now I started this entire process last week on a 10-year-old domain that I didn't keep updated. If after a month or two I had screenshots proving I made great money with this process, could I develop a WSO based on my results? Yup! Would MOST folks on this forum studying video marketing already be familiar with these strategies? Yup!
We need to remember that members of this forum are not the target market for WSOs. Most of us know the questions we could ask in a WSO thread to cut through the BS to find the redundancies, and that does happen occasionally. Not everyone buys multiple WSOs on the same topic, which is why these WSOs keep popping up. Would you expect to see WSOs about making money with MySpace?
We are marketers and we're here to make money, right? Monetizing a hot trend makes sense to me. All these folks have to do is go to their Warrior Plus account to see which WSOs are selling like hotcakes and duplicate with their own results.
I've been online for 12 years (full time the past 15 months) and have seen lots of business models come and go, at some point you have to stop downloading/buying WSOs and take action ;)
