This is a script for Magento that lets you create a store using your
Amazon affiliate account to create an entire store that does not show
all of the amazon information. Your store will look something like this:
Easy way to use it:

1. Install Magento using Softaculous - if you don't have it - Google how to; its easy; just takes a few minutes to learn.
2. Upload the Script to your magneto folder.
3. Run /magento-cleanup.php from your browser. Just type
   "yourwebsiteaddress.com/magento/magento-cleanup.php" in your browser.
4. Login to admin. ("yourwebsiteaddress.com/magento/index.php/admin")
5. Setup according to guide below.

Setup Guide - Login to your Magento Admin



Catalog > WP Amazon Import > Settings



Setup your Access Key ID and Secret Key and Affiliate ID (Only
works for USA) . Setup if you want to redirect to amazon cart or amazon
product detail page.


Setup Auto Sync + Setup your Magento Cron in Cpanel (Google how)


Catalog > Manage Categories (Create your categories so you know where to import products to)



Catalog > WP Amazon Import > Import Products


This is very simple - select category, enter keyword; and clic con
Search and Load Products. Or even enter ASINs in CSV format. I will
look for my scraper and post it ; as soon as I can find it.



Categories - Always Select Use Existing Categories - so products will go inside the appropriate categories.



After clicking Search and Load products - the products list will show
below; you select what you want ; use the search filters; and click on
the drop down Actions > Import Selected now > Submit

In a few minutes you have an excellent working amazon affiliate website which looks 100% like ecommerce.

Thanks - It seems probable that this is outdated by now, and anyway I decided against using Magento for eCommerce after I posted this. My current recommendation would be to use WordPress (for just about anything, except advanced users) and WooCommerce. As for Amazon ... I don't know, I lost interest in being an affiliate - there are so many other newer things. But combined with other things, good.

"news" meaning "newest" I assume? It would be hard or impossible to find, based on what I have seen.

Thanks for saying thanks again! Here is the thing - this is old stuff. Use wordpress and woocommerce! Magento requires special knowledge and server requirements.

I do NOT recommend this stuff! Do want you want ;)
