Im looking into the mobile app building ( Not games too much hard work ..lol ) but basic info apps what do any of you use or recommend pls. Ideally a pc software not MAC and mainly for android but either apple or android.

anyone use web-based app builders or script like self hosted php builders.

if you are more comfortable using HTML and CSS, you could use PhoneGap, I've used that before, and it works very well, you can create an app in HTML and convert that to use on almost any mobile device.
