Finding businesses
We will use yelp.com. It’s a website that list businesses from almost every industry such as below.
At the left side you can see the categories of businesses that you can find on Yelp.com. There are even more categories at the bottom of the slider.
You could just click on any category to find out the businesses related to that category. In this example we are going to use the search button of Yelp.com and search “Dentists” in California.
(This search string is just amazing. Never ever In my 5 years in IM I was able to find this amazing search string)
Search String
Now it’s time to see the magic of the search string.
Go to Google.com and type:
Contacting Businesses
Now it’s the time to contact the businesses that you have found previously through the search string. We have basically two methods to contact the business owners.
1. Calling them
2. Direct Mail
(Again this is an amazing method, I have never heard before )
Criteria:
1. Call at morning Time
2. Friendly tone
3. Don’t sell them but help them.
According to the criteria you should contact the business owners in the morning time and you should sound like you are trying to help them not like a blatant marketer.
What should I say to the business owner?
As I said you just need to sound like you are helping them not selling them. Tell them that they are losing potential customers, benefits of having a website and how easy it is to setup a website and tell to the business owner that you can help them to setup their website.
