I recently came across this neat little tool: 4k Stogram - a Instagram Desktop App - might be beneficial to some of you. The Application is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.

How to use:
1. Type in the username of a Instagram account whose Pictures you wish to "backup" ;-)
2. Let the Application do the rest...
3. In the folder "Stogram" you will find subfolders named after the Usernames you entered and containing all the pictures the program was able to fetch.
